Because theSynapse database is online, it can be accessed by anybody on the web at any time, whilst theSynapse administrators can oversee equipment allocation and venue timetables whether they are on or off site. This allows administrators to maintain and easily update or review timetables, secure or cancel bookings, instantly.

Likewise, any registered user of theSynapse can access timetables at any time, or resource allocation schedules to check availability of equipment. They can even request use of resources booked out under another user's name by emailing other users direct.
